Vinyl FAQ
What are Luxury Vinyl Planks?
Luxury vinyl planks are designed to look like hardwood and come in a wide variety of wood grains, colors, and textures. The planks themselves are made to be installation-ready with glue down or click edges. Vinyl planks offer better moisture and stain resistance than hardwood and require little maintenance.
What is Luxury Vinyl Tile?
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) provides the look of natural stone, porcelain, or ceramic tile. With tongue-in-groove and glue-down installation options, LVT is easier to install than porcelain or ceramic tile as there is no grout necessary. LVT is made to be waterproof or water-resistant, and is textured to look and feel authentic.
What is sheet vinyl?
Sheet vinyl is thinner and much more flexible than luxury planks or tiles and comes in a roll. It’s waterproof and is open imprinted with a variety of designs and patterns. Sheet Vinyl requires a flat, sub-floor for the best results.
